mamutec AG, the leading Swiss company for narrow textile braid and rope technology, can look back on many years’ experience in the development and manufacture of ropes and running rigging. Founded in 1862 as a rope works, in 1919 the fast growing craftsman’s establishment became the Seilerwarenfabrik AG Lenzburg, and later Arova-Mammut AG. Since March 2000 the rope and hoisting technology division has spread from Switzerland to Hungary and the USA as an independent company under the name of mamutec.
